Ooh, nice! Good review. Oh, and thanks for the mention near the end of the interview ^_^ Might want to shorten my name to Yugi in future though :)

Happy holidays, all! :)

Edit: The wording near the end of this line gave me an idea - will write it up into Bs&Bs:
J. Monkman wrote:Got a ship full of broken weapons, armour and radioactive waste? Take it to one of the many industrious 'Tinkers' living in the backwaters of space and pay them to create some custom weaponry for you.

its always cool to get a mention :D

This part of the interview is cool.
For instance, I'd like to add more missions to the Korolov Shipping stations (defending the same transport against the same pirates can get boring after a while).
Crying is not a proper retort!

it's like he read georges mind on that part.

EDIT: now that i actually read it, i'll point out that george actually asked for our ideas on this earlier in another thread.

A very good review/interview. Hopefully it will draw more people in.

Well, happy holidays to you George, as well as every member of the OTF & UTF! And thanks for the mention as well, though I can't see exactly what important stuff I have done that has helped Transcendence a lot.

Thanks for the mention!
Thought I wouldn't get one, seeing as in recent times I've been as silent as the grave (Having to use a 17" CRT at 1024 x 700 monitor really killed my want to converse on the internet)

...

wait, what did I add to the development to warrant being on the list?
I can't remember my mod doing anything really new (Except the hangar system, but that was really red pig on UTF's idea, with some adaptation on my part) but being really big...

Awesome review! And thanks for the thanks.

Really, though, transcendence has been one of the most interesting things I've been involved with. I've gotten a lot of enjoyment, both from just playing the game and helping to influence the direction it goes in.

Nice review! Very much deserved. The fact that this game has been able to continue development to such a high level of polish while being supported by a dedicated community is a great example of what independent games are capable of. Also, happy new year!
