So, I was wondering the other day, what kind of statistics this forum and it's community would have. On another forum I saw what basically accounted to an A/S/L poll. I know a lot of people don't like sharing sensitive personal info on the internet, and thus most of us don't have A/S/L on our forum profiles. That's fine, however when you undertake a poll, that information isn't shared with anyone (except it may be stored on the server), but you are largely anonymous.
So, I would like to present the above poll. You aren't required to post afterwards explaining what you posted. Please be honest and don't through in a stupid vote just to muck things up. I'm pretty sure you aren't all 90 years old.
Locations are based loosely off of the United Nations Geoscheme. Because of how are polls work, I have given you enough votes for each of the categories (3) - one vote per category only please, or else you will ruin the tallies.
So, come on, don't be afraid and put your answers in!

It should technically be Sex, not Gender, as gender refers to an abstract concept of self-identification, while sex refers to your chromosomes. (Basically if you have a Y chromosome or not).
Still, we have a community map, so I think that the location part of this is rather redundant. There should be a link to it under the community resources post.

I have seen that, never used it. Does anyone keep that up to date? Or does it run off of what people put in their Location Field in their profile? Because "TSB Shipyards" is not a location.Wolfy wrote:It should technically be Sex, not Gender, as gender refers to an abstract concept of self-identification, while sex refers to your chromosomes. Still, this is one nice easy place for people to enter data into and I'll be interested to see the results. Like for interest sake, whether or not their are any women on this board, as internet forums breed ambiguity (which is a good thing, though).

Yeah, being google-maps based, its got nothing to do with the location entered in the profile field.

Well I know that if it was done with the google polls feature we would get the data processed - in graphs, tables, and charts already. But I can easily do that once this poll is over.

This poll is infinite, so make your own if you want - you do have knack for Google Polls.Ttech wrote:ThePrivateer wrote:I have seen that, never used it. Does anyone keep that up to date? Location - Russia, East Europe ---- It should be "Poland or somwhere else in Europe"
Don't think I'm conceited, but if there are Antarctica there should be "Poland" or "Germany".
Does someone lives in Antarctica ? Come on

Happy Feet is a serious movie that proofed that penguins can actually play games like Transcendence.
But seriously I see your point on Antarctica.

I wondering that in some day all of us (members) will meet in some place and talk about TC Face-T-Face
If we got enough funds we could make a Transcendence con of sorts.
