PERFECT solution......but if the player data can be stored off ship.....that would virtually make every ship playable......
and this would also lead to being able to give the player a mission ship: to fly a mission for a station or group.....then return it when done.

it would open a whole universe of possible things the player


you think this could fly in 1.01 ?

Playable ships has nothing to do with where you store data

I think that is a slight exaggeration. Where we store data is mostly a practical thing, not something that opens new universes.
