Hi all,

I'm building some traffic for my Hoshikaze 2250 - Stars of Call Adventure Mod. And so I got ships in the current system, and when I jump to another system, the ships I saw jumping to that system a few seconds before are noth there.

There's a consistency problem here. First, seen from the eye of the player, and second, if you plan to develop missions involving long haul escorts through multiple systems... And I plan to have ultimately that kind of missions.

I currently think that, if the destination system is not already generated, ie if the player has not already been here, the ship goes nowhere and the ship object is destroyed. If the system already exists, I will specifically test soon and tell you, probably in my next post...

If this is indeed confirmed, as I need to keep ship data for future use, I plan to set data at the unv level to retrieve them later.

It's always been like this, but I don't think it's possible, since it probably would have been implemented if it was...

Hi Wolfy, hi all,

Indeed I though about that and that's not very glad. I feel like trying nonetheless ^-^ Maybe storing lists of active ships and having the appropriate ships re-created when the player enters a system...

Hi F50, hi all,

OK, I'll think about it... Anyway, that'll be in some time, because there's so much to do before ! For now I'm building a simple in-system AI for the ships, so they can interact. But better think in advance to the nex steps...
