Location: Hmm... I'm confused. Anybody have a starmap to the Core?

Ok, there are too many Charon and not enough Ronin in the Korolov vs Charon storyline. I don't know if it was meant to be so, but even my GN Particle field can't stop the onslaught of 20 Pirate ships. :(

Look at the bottom of the LRS. Where are those ships coming from?!

I do know the balance of that needs to be shifted. The problem is that the most powerful commonwealth ship at that level is the manticore, but that tends to decimate the charons, so I tried heavy IAV's and they got mauled, so I have a lot of Centurions. I'm planning to rebalance it soon.

BTW has anyone seen a corporate cruiser? The ship has a 2% chance to spawn a corporate cruiser, but I've never seen it and I'm interested in how effective it is.

I'm not sure of the exact context, not having played the mod, but what about using manticores but upgrading the Charon ships? Swapping KM100s for KM120s or KM500s or even KM110s could make things more even. Most of the real Charon firepower comes from missiles which are an easy swap in script.

Alternately use Centurions or Heavy IAVs but change the ratio of Corsairs to Vikings to Corsair-IIs and reduce the missile stocks of frigates and Drakes.

So that's why the Cruiser was there! I thought the Charon blew up a weapons dealer.
The Corp Cruiser sucks. It has the ability to decimate the Charon (its armor is invincible to laser and blast) yet because it has the orders to "leave when shield is down" it tends to only matter when it actually comes back from running away. :(

Is St. Mary's Star stargate supposed to be in Rigel Aurelius twice?

Are you playing on the newest version? I looked through and it shouldn't have two systems named St. Mary's. Another possibility is that someone suggested it on IRC and I fixed it already.

Can you tell me how to discern an old version from a newer one? I've redownloaded your mod and checked all of the line lengths--- they're the same for my mod and the recent update. Here's what's happening though:

Both ssBattleArena and ssEarthSpaceSplit3 look fine, so I'm going to attribute it to the RNG hating my guts (It didn't spawn a system that should have led me to the Korolov storyline :( ).

I just got to the Korolov section for the first time, talked to the girl at the station, retrieved the weapon and installed it, but there was no sign of the free reactor she promised. Do I have to do something, or is this a bug?

I think what the Mod Maker meant to say is " GREAT GOING, PILOT!!!!!" ( then talk about fixing stuff )

I been in the Network once, I got side tracked by other stuff and can not say I reached anything but the safety of a stargate:
