Also done. I probably actually *will* buy it on Steam as well if it gets through....since I've gotten all my expansions for free thus far (giveaway + beta testing EP).
Edit: One thing I'd add is the fact that this is a game that's been updated and revised over a long time, with constant improvements and the like. That's one of the major selling points for Transcendence: the intricacy of a game that's been tinkered with for so long.

Also done! Already seems like it's gathering support on Steam. I remember talking about getting Transcendence greenlit back when Steam was first launched; now with the excellent expansions and some of the nicer UI additions and special effects George has added post 1.1, I think we stand a chance of really going somewhere here!

They said I can't vote at this time. Have to buy something. Is there any other way to vote? Fixed income and I just paid all my bills.george moromisato wrote:If you have a Steam account please check out our Greenlight page and support it:

'fraid not. Steam accounts only get voting access to Greenlight after buying something. It's an anti-astroturf system.NIGHTHAWK620 wrote:They said I can't vote at this time. Have to buy something. I've got a couple of questions! I ran into the greenlight link just after I bought eternity port and that raises a couple of questions...george moromisato wrote:If you have a Steam account please check out our Greenlight page and support it:

1. How will you handle people who already own the game? It just so happens that Transcendence is the only non steam game I've got. Would I have to buy the game again?
2. AFAIK, it's perfectly compatible with wine - which is how I play now. If launched on steam, would it be windows only or would you be doing a WINE wrapper of some sort?
I don't particularly mind buying again. It's a small price to pay to have all my games in one place but I'm currently linux only and that's a concern...

Will you be integrating Multiverse into the Steam edition? There's some functional overlap w/r/t updates, DLC, high scores, etc. When you first announced Multiverse I had thought that it was intended to be a Steam-like ecosystem for Kronosaur games.
