you need to type it with ( ) eg (makefactory) or just use the built in fort command (fort "part of station name") and then (fort ##) where ## is the number by the name of the station

Tried the cheat codes thing in debug, couldn't get it to work. I used the code from Smart Tinkers that he used to generate a station on the playership position. I haven't started wading through the various code description pages yet. For some reason though I never thought of the G.O.D. mod. Haven't...

or, run in debug mode with Cheatcodes, and get it to auto spawn the station under you when the game starts

so, after a bit of playing i found that there is a way to do it, it doesnt work very well, eg notice the !! lines i also removed scale= "world" from them, it leaves the system looking empty, but its REALLY fun bouncing around on Asteroids if you add mobile= "true" mass= " 20" then they fly around af...
