What exactly is a nonCritical attribute? I mean, I think I've read someplace that it means a ship won't be destroyed if that section of armor is reduced to zero; but what are those variants, i.e. nonCritical="cargo", "general", "tactical" and whatnot? Perhaps if the exchange ratios were outrageous.... like if you only got, say, 20% of your money's worth, both ways. Say, you buy some rins for 10000 creds, but then you can only buy back 400 creds with those rins. :twisted:

Okay, so if fireAccuracy is "95" but aimTolerance is "90" (degrees) - which of them has precedence? At any rate, one of them sounds superfluous.

I'm guessing aimTolerance is the maximum angle (or a modifier to the maximum angle) at which an ai considers a target to be shootable. I *think* that it's how much the weapon will move to hit a target. Like if you've got a Corsair slightly to the left of where your gun is pointed, it'll nudge itself over a tiny bit so the bullet hits. I'm not totally sure, but that's my theory. Very useful, many thanks. BTW, so 'Alien' means you can't find it in human space? What does it mean exactly? I mean what exactly is the definition of 'human space'? Does it mean entire systems, including hostile encounters and their loots? Independent merchants?
