Sometime it would be nice to start a site dedicated to quality, bug and issue free mods that do nothing but enhance or expand upon the vanilla gameplay. That means only mods which are balanced, which add new missions, new items, new ships, etc... That way you could just go to the site, look through ...

Don't know if its possible for the AI to check the blast radius of a target's explosion beforehand, but it would be nice if they at least had the sense to friggin stay away from things that are about to explode. Anything that allows for each ship to have customizable dock screens without having to override the entire dock screen system (meaning you can't have two ships that both do this) can be nothing but good.

I don't think you really need to hint that when your armor reaches zero, you die. :P But I believe we all agree that insta-death is bad. If they want to mess with your ship and break things, that's OK, but don't kill the player.

What about having Arco consistently drop a targeting rom? Seriously, having to play the game without them just because none of them randomly generated anywhere isn't very fun. I can't even target the center of a slaver camp in order to dock at it instead of docking at all the stupid cargo boxes.

Wingmen Repairs?

I thought in the latest version RC2 that wingmen would repair themselves at stations capable of doing so when they were sufficiently damaged? I have Rama at 57% damaged and Volkov at 95% damaged, but I can't get them to fix anything at any stations. Or was this only part of a mod and not in the vani...
