I don't understand tho. I thought part 5 was supposed to be Summerset Isles. I heard about this a long time ago, and a longer time ago than that I heard about part 3 being Morrowind and part 4 being Cyrodiil. And I was right about both of those (only half right with Cyrodiil... look up the lore it's...

Actually, in the scripts I've noticed that global variables are deleted once their code section does... namely when the game closes. Maybe this is related, maybe not... but Domina does use alot of script.

Uploaded a new version, using vector maths and a per-ship overflow catcher.

I never expected this to be unique, but it's something I've been wanting to make for-freaking-ever. I hope this is a slick enough implementation to get some attention.

[Development] Singularity Proof of Concept

This mod showcases several ideas I've had, and the hackish workarounds I've implemented to make them happen, including extremely large planets (which are actually to the scale given on the wiki, directly from george), stations you can actually fire straight through, and my personal favorite hack... ...

Well I found a way to make it work using fixed point mathematics... it's hackish... but it works.

Where are my floating points, George?

Now, I'm not sure if it's my coding that has caused this, but: http://transcendence.pastebin.com/mjwHR5PT Returns 80, 160, 240, etc. Meaning theScale is being set to integers only. I also discovered that (power x y) returns 0 if y<1. Meaning no cubed roots or little-phi roots or whatever. Is transce...

@alterecco Yes there is. And it doesn't appear to do anything at all except make sure your ship will be painted on top. Planets in the default game, for example stCrateredPlanet, are backgroundObject="true" @digdug That was my first thought. And I ran across the same problems. I don't think it matte...

Maybe the launcher could be set up to be aimed, like a laser. You could even use an invisible (or maybe even visible) tightbeam laser communication you could have to actually aim. Omnidirectional, of course... I think I'm going to try and go make that happen <OnDamage>

Really big planets and weapons fire

So I'm making a mod with... really big planets... The sun is over 2300 pixels across. It works great, even if the automap looks a little strange. The problem is, weapons fire is stopped by the "stations" I am using to represent the planets and the sun. This is unacceptable to what I'm trying to do. ...

To be fair, I didn't push too hard until I wanted to register the UNID I always used to tweak my game.

There is also mining and trading. Admittedly these pathways are not very well defined, but they can be very profitable! Mining, especially.

I don't think they're all spambots. Many must be like I was.

I have played this game since 2006, signed up for the forums shortly after, and never got registered until 2008...

I think we need some forum titles. You know, something to go next to our names on the forum.

I hereby nominate josh19967 as "Arch Thread Necromancer"

I always did love the idea of "sailing" through space. JAXA already has demonstrated the practical application of solar sails with their Ikaros probe. I love it so much I have actually run a pen and paper RPG of a new "age of sail" in the 25th century. It was awesome, but I ran into a problem with o...

I'm curious because I have a very long list of dockable ships here that should all have identical GetDockscreens, and I'd like to minimize duplication .
