I don't understand tho. I thought part 5 was supposed to be Summerset Isles. I heard about this a long time ago, and a longer time ago than that I heard about part 3 being Morrowind and part 4 being Cyrodiil. And I was right about both of those (only half right with Cyrodiil... look up the lore it's...

[Development] Singularity Proof of Concept
This mod showcases several ideas I've had, and the hackish workarounds I've implemented to make them happen, including extremely large planets (which are actually to the scale given on the wiki, directly from george), stations you can actually fire straight through, and my personal favorite hack... ...

Where are my floating points, George?
Now, I'm not sure if it's my coding that has caused this, but: http://transcendence.pastebin.com/mjwHR5PT Returns 80, 160, 240, etc. Meaning theScale is being set to integers only. I also discovered that (power x y) returns 0 if y<1. Meaning no cubed roots or little-phi roots or whatever. Is transce...

@alterecco Yes there is. And it doesn't appear to do anything at all except make sure your ship will be painted on top. Planets in the default game, for example stCrateredPlanet, are backgroundObject="true" @digdug That was my first thought. And I ran across the same problems. I don't think it matte...

Really big planets and weapons fire
So I'm making a mod with... really big planets... The sun is over 2300 pixels across. It works great, even if the automap looks a little strange. The problem is, weapons fire is stopped by the "stations" I am using to represent the planets and the sun. This is unacceptable to what I'm trying to do. ...

Forum Titles Nominations
I think we need some forum titles. You know, something to go next to our names on the forum.

I always did love the idea of "sailing" through space. JAXA already has demonstrated the practical application of solar sails with their Ikaros probe. I love it so much I have actually run a pen and paper RPG of a new "age of sail" in the 25th century. It was awesome, but I ran into a problem with o...
