Special Ship features

I'm currently looking for a way to designate ship features specific to a hull, rather than a device installed on it... in this case, stealth.

Is it possible for a ship to have a stealth attribute, like Stealth Armor does, without actually having Stealth armor?

Possibly I did not articulate this idea well enough, but that is EXACTLY what I was implying.

Shipping missions could include both in-system and out-system transfers. The easy missions would provide you with guards... the harder ones would not.

Korolov Shipping - The other side

The shipping company is all well and good, and looking for guards... but what if you're running a freighter. Shouldn't it be possible to play through a Korolov storyline from the other side of the equation, BEING guarded instead of offering your services AS a guard?

I think this would be an excellent mod if it were accompanied by some one-use free identification methods. Well... free in the sense of not charging when using... the stores could still charge for em.

I'm 100% behind the comma separated value switch... seems an easy hack too. If this were unix, you could pipe the output to awk and do it automatically.. but let's face it, anyone who is using GNU tools on a windows box is just not doing it right ;)

I've been thinking of doing something just like this in a mod I'm planning. It's sort of a combination of a few ideas that people have had over the years but never saw through. As was said before, in a conversion or adventure mod it could work, but one would have to use custom ships, all roughly the...

Remember in the original Doom games, that one could line up enemies and make them in-fight. All you would need to do is get two different types of enemies in a line, and let one hit the other. Also note that in the earliest example of this kind of behavior I can think of, there was a certain amount ...

Sorry for cluttering your xelerus.de page with bug reports, I didn't have a working transcendence forum account until recently.

I love this ship, can't wait to see what it looks like when it's finished.

This is probably in the wrong forum, honestly.

Good job tho. I'm still trying to wrap my head around the LISP-like scripting language, and all the math involved in modding here. This should help with some stuff I've been struggling to understand. Thanks dig

I love the idea behind this. Personally, I don't think there should be any limit on the amount of water ice one can collect... after all, water ice is one of the most common compounds in the universe, and ice asteroids are among the most common types of object out there. The Ice shield is a very com...
