Re: Particle Physics Isn't That Hard Actually

Again the word found is coming up. They haven't technically found anything. There you go throwing that word around like it's fact. What they know is that certain experiments are having an anticipated result. The actual finding of the things mentioned still hasn't happened but merely hints at what th...

Re: Particle Physics Isn't That Hard Actually

When you say they "found something" it just means that they are more sure that they think it should exist. This isn't finding something. This is only becoming more sure (possibly just more stubborn) you have the possibility of some time in the future having a better grasp on what it is you are obser...

Auton Armor Repair not working

I had a M1 battle auton with carbide caripace that was damaged. I was able to use another segment to repair the armor and it said it was repaired and no longer needed fixing. When I released it again from the auton bay it came out damaged. Only CC is running as an add on.

Re: Particle Physics Isn't That Hard Actually

Actual tested theories are tested. They are known to reflect reality to a certain degree of precision. Any theory that superseded them must reflect the same reality and therefore must give the same predictions over the domain that the older theory is tested over to within the precision to which the...

Re: Missing elements of communication in Transcendence

As far as communications with other ships in passing, it might be a good idea to have an option for communication lines to be monitored. This could be toggled on and off under the typical communication menu. On the genre front I have always felt that this was almost more like ZZT than rogue. Last I ...

Re: Particle Physics Isn't That Hard Actually

No, there is no reason to believe any particle has been found to carry magnetic forces. If new theory is coming, quantum mechanics and relativity theory would be approximation of new theory, like quantum mechanics become Newton mechanics if plank constant is zero. Just because something is in curren...

Re: Ideas for growing the community

Bruno- I can totally see what you mean. I get this way occasionally. Although I have sufficient knowledge to put together a mod I don't have sufficient time to put it together. When Corporate Command came out I jumped on it and purchased a copy, didn't even try for a free one. After playing through ...

Re: Ideas for growing the community

I keep seeing IRC as a possibility but I would rather have it as an optional feature. Not much of an IRC person.

I have to say I really like the dual fusionfire howitzer. Think it's a CC weapon though. It's got a kick.

Re: Corporate Command Discussion

I had this happen and only got a few shots off before he escaped.
I also get the order to return to the beginning station after a few missions with other corporate stations. When I get there they send me on one mission and they're done with me again.

The station might see it as a defensive barrier still though.

Re: Sapphire Class - Highscores?

It's the ship that started the game for one. I use it because it's versatile and what I've always used.
The three starter ships are the only ones that will show up in the high score anyway and only in a vanilla game.

Re: [New Mod] The Solar System to Scale

Something I've noticed is that the mask area for the sun is a rectangle in the upper right area of the sun approximately the size of the viewable area. Is this a limit with the game?

edit: Dropped cargo at the corners and they're just outside of the view and seem to make a square.
