I'm fairly certain the <ondestroy> tag that causes stations to explode when they are shot to death was included in super freighters, when they went through the gate the game counts them dead and they blow up like the mod was intended to make stations do. as suggested just delete the <ondestroy> tag ...

still, placing markers on the map sounds interesting... if it can remember names to stations, and map all the bodies and stations in the system, why can't it remember and name a coordinate?

something between .95 and .98c broke the code, if you could post the <Events> tag in the luminous drone(of .95) it could be used to replace the events tag in the current version through extension and "fix" the bug by restoring it to an older state that still works. the <GlobalData> tag in the lumino...

Ttech, could you post the code from .95 for a fix(is patch the right word here?) before the new version comes out? unless you are recalling from memory and don't still have .95
