I've noticed this too, only workaround I found is to use a missile projectile type with a custom single-pixel image.

I have no way to reduce my defenses, but I volunteer my homeworld for target practice. Not like I can really retaliate anyway, though :mrgreen: and I don't mind being the lemming for testing needs...
