Well, either the main post would have to be switched over so that you could edit it, or a new stickied post would have to be made, and this one un-stickied. 'Til then I can continue maintaining this one, though.Ttech wrote:Felekar wrote:Charon Mass of Goo wrote:0xE666 - CharonMassofGoo (CharonGooMass)

You had 0xD634 before, but I've changed it over to the new number.Charon Mass of Goo wrote:0xE666 - CharonMassofGoo (CharonGooMass)
It's really not hard to continue this Felkar, all you need to know how to do is Copy and Paste, as long as they follow theFormat.Code: Select all

I'm not sure how well I'll be able to continue updating this list, as I've injured my hand, and am no longer able to play the game. x.x If there's any way I can pass on these duties to someone willing to take over, or perhaps a registration system that could be set up, that would be wonderful. Until...

At the speeds , accelerations, and distances in game a realistic gravity system wouldn't be noticed by the player. I'm not suggesting a realistic gravity system, more one that would change the angle of a shot fired over a planet by anywhere from 1-45 degrees, depending on how close to the center th...

I'd like it if you could still put a planet between you and your enemy and have it protect you from their shots (I mentioned this in more detail in the QD shell thread), but I think that making them transparent to weapons fire would work as well. Well, it might be a bit of a major change, but if gr...

Something similar to this could very well be modded into the game right now. It would be rather clunky, but you could have an extension like the missile defense turret that fires a stream of 0 damage shots toward said target. It would be an omni-weapon, so it would always try to fire where the enemy...

Re: Possible ideas for the future?
Flying over the sun and sitting there makes Solar Armour and Solar Panels good accessories at the moment. You can sit on the sun, disable your equipment and hit the autopilot button. Go take a wizz, and by the time you come back, viola! Fully fuelled generator. If you can't just sit on the sun but ...

I've never really been a fan of the magic insta-scope. It's one of those things where I think that a more practical solution is more fun. For example, I think it is fun to NOT have everything pre-identified. I have had plenty of neat situations arise due to radar mistakes: I bumbled into a waiting ...

UNID Database
UNID Database List After much deliberation I (alterecco) have decided that the list is now only available on the wiki. If any issues arise from this, take them up with me on IRC :) Link to UNID Database on the wiki NOTE: Read this before posting! A UNID is a hexadecimal number in the range 0xD000 t...

Neat ideas. Some comments below: #3. Better Layering of planets...: I've been thinking of adding this. But I'm not sure what the reaction will be. Would that make the game too hard? I confess that I've often used planets for safety. Need to think about this. Thanks for the excellent suggestions! Wh...

Possible ideas for the future?
Apologies if any of these ideas have already been presented. Also, sorry that this is just about my first post, but I've been thinking about this game for a couple weeks now, and have been pondering things that I think might improve the game. #1. The "Galactic Map" Accessible from the ships menu, or...

I've been lurking around for a bit, and have played around with this mod. I have to say, I rather like it. Though, I found a couple little problems, just as a way to familiarize myself more with the XML format, and what not. Normally after a repair attempt you are ejected from the repair screen. Thi...
